Space Sirens Review 3/5
One of the first cybersex games to hit the market was groundbreaking by combining the worlds of pornography and computer gaming into an interactive experience. That game was Virtual Vixens. A large improvement over that title is its more successful sequel, Space Sirens, which set the standard for interactive erotic games when it was released in 1994. Naturially, the graphics and design are extremely dated, but a decade ago, this was probably great fun for males who had computers.
The background story is that you are a space explorer seeking out rare alien artifacts when you are distracted by the "call" of the space sirens, luring you and your spacecraft into an immense vessel. This is portrayed in a short intro movie. Four sirens are inside awaiting sexual fulfillment that only you can provide. This is where the game begins. Once inside, you navigate around a circular path where you may choose one of four doors, each sealing off a sexy space siren. You have the freedom to pick any door you want, enabling you to start with the girl of your choice.
The gameplay itself is mostly frustrating, but you interact by controlling on-screen hands (their's and yours) on their bodies. I don't really remember the object of the game, but I know there wasn't much of one. At any rate, it was something of a classic. Space Sirens is the type of game that once dreamt of virtual erotica in the ways that it's actually possible today, and helped pave the way towards that direction.
